Operation Medicine Cabinet this Saturday

Oak Ridge residents are encouraged to dispose their unused medicine this Saturday at Operation Medicine Cabinet.  The Oak Ridge Police Department along with Allies for Substance Abuse Prevention of Anderson County will host the event as part of a continued effort to reduce drug abuse and practice stewardship toward our environment.

From 9 AM until 12 noon this Saturday, February 23, 2013, medication may be dropped off with officers in the parking lot at ORPD.  Labeled prescription vials are not needed; however, if you bring your medicine in its original container, the containers will be recycled.  No questions asked—no names given.
